Grow your own vegetables and live healthy!

MSB’s experimental ‘Square Foot’ garden is now yielding a regular crop of tomatoes, herbs, okra, spinach, turnips and beans!
Square Foot gardening is an intensive cultivation method specifically suited to small urban spaces, that maximizes crop yield in the minimum amount of space

We’ve used recycled wood crates, a lightweight, water-retentive coco-compost based soil mix and a completely organic set of pest repellents and fertilizers.

Great to read up on the square foot gardening concept. Do you also have these wooden crates for sale? I have always wanted to grow vegetables, but the whole process of going hunting for these accessories, soil, medicines is painful and i give up on the idea..

Thanks for sharing these kind of wonderful threads. As you all already know, it is practically gardening season again! And I really don’t know about you, but I am fired up. As I prepare to get my own vegetable garden growing, I have found a excellent all new guidebook that I wanted to pass down to every body. It’s called, “Your Beautiful Garden: Gardening Advice and Tips for Everyone.” What an awesome powerful resource. This is definitely the type of book that is going to remain with you for many years to come. Go on and find out about it right here: Gardening, composting, rose gardens and more! Go there now!

Very interesting. Ive grown tomatoes, chillies, capsicum and bitter gourd in my balcony with decent results. I like the wooden crates – where and how can I buy them also the compost based soil mix and the organic pest repellents, fertilizers etc. Also do you provide training on growing vegetables and setting up a balcony garden. I am a greehorn who recently started gardening, would love some tips on gardening

Tip of the day

A combination of high temperature, low humidity and dry compost causes plants to wilt rapidly and foliage to shrivel.
